DAYA News Bureau, May 01, 2024 : Durgapur Adda Young Association(abbreviated as DAYA) celebrated “May Day” on May 01,2024 with due importance and dignity by organizing a health checkup camp for the marginalized people of Durgapur station area in cooperation with “Life Care Hospital” in the presence of Dr. Azra Javeen (MBBS, MD).
With the limited arrangements, this camp conducted a total of 78 health tests as well as blood tests for all the people, medicines were distributed according to ECG and prescription of several people as per doctor’s advice.
At the end of the ceremony, lunch packets were handed over to each marginal workers and their families who came to the camp; tiffin was arranged for each member on behalf of the organization.
Also the play “Durgapur Adda Young Association” staged Mario Fratti’s “Alende & Oliviers” drama “Suicide” Ritam Mukherjee, Riya Mukherjee and Arup Ranjan Sinha acted in the play.
Like all time, DAYA tried to celebrate and spread the importance of MAY DAY in its own way, spreading the message of uniting the people by standing beside each other.
