On 16th July, 25 saplings were planted at a designated place in the grounds of Bidhannagar Government Sponsored Boys High School and arrangements were made to fence the place with bamboo clamps. The students of the school are told about the need to plant trees before planting. The participation of the teachers including the head of the school deserves special mention.
On 18th July, about 50 plant saplings were planted at Bijra Primary School and Bijra High School; both are very close to each other. Here too the students planted the trees themselves and take the responsibility to grow the trees in the future.
The students here too were explained the need of planting trees in simple words. The fact that we have nothing to do but plant trees to protect the environment and make the earth habitable for human beings was highlighted among the students of the school.
