Durgapur Adda Young Association identified this village after visiting the area and talking with the people there. The eagerness of these marginalized people in talking old clothes helped us in taking a prompt decision in this regard.

Through Facebook and WhatsApp messages we gave an open appeal to donate good condition old clothes; however all the clothes we received were not in a good state. DAYA members took utmost care in sorting the clothes based on age group and sex; also discarding torn and colour damaged clothes. 7-10 DAYA members worked 5 days on trot tirelessly in sorting and packing the clothes.

A matador van was hired and the sorted clothes were distributed among the villagers who patiently maintained a proper queue all throughout the distribution process.
