DAYA News Bureau: On 15th August, fourth foundation day of Durgapur Adda Young Association-run Jeevanpath-1 centers and country’s 77th Independence Day celebrated at Jeevanpath-1 center located in Kamalpur washing plot.
Two elderly women from the locality hoisted the tricolour and all those present chanted in unison “Janagana man adhinayaka jai hay ……”.
After that the students of Jeebanpath-1 center sang two songs. The members of the organization also sang two newly composed songs.
Besides, sewing learning materials were provided to all students of “Bhudev Karmakar Sewing Training Center” run by Durgapur Adda Young Association at Jeebanpath-1 center. Also old clothes in very good condition were distributed among the people of the area.
At the end, all the students of Jeevanpath-1 center and the small children of the area were given lunch.
